About the event
This online workshop will be once a week for the 4 weeks (April 9th - April 30th), through the current "stay-at-home order." We will focus on healthy ways to work through the normal feelings that have come up through this uncertain time. Each week we will focus on different ways to cope with anxiety, stress, change, and mindset around our new normal (for now). This is not only a workshop, but a confidential support group. Hopefully, you will find comfort in knowing that that others are feeling some of the same exact feelings, and you are not alone. Or maybe it is because you have had to be strong for others and need a place to vent and be vulnerable. Whatever the reason, we are all in this together! Alissa Shilander- Hardin will lead the coaching session by sharing techniques that can help us find gratitude and work through our negative emotions, amidst the distress this pandemic is causing. So no matter if you are at home with your children and having the stress of working, parenting, and now being their teacher, living by yourself and feeling sad and lonely, going in to work and having to put your health at risk to provide a service for others -or any other circumstances....we will talk about ways to use this time to make us be stronger and better on the other side it.
